Mystery Plug!! Help! - Mustang Evolution

Mystery Plug!! Help!

So I had my my console apart the other day installing an AUX input and j came across this little guy just hanging out underneath. Anyone know what this is for??

my guess is its probably for an option you dont have

Yeah that's what I thought too, but I can't think of what it would be, unless it's those vanity light things that light up the cup holder and footwells.

Go to ford and ask for a parts list and diagram for the center console

I think it's for heated leather seats. I have the same plug hanging out doing not **** in my '11 and I have the lighted cupholder thingys.

Thanks Napoleon, Haynes didn't have anything on it. I'm not worried about it, I was simply curious as to what it would be. I can mark the lit cup holders off the list of possible suspects....

Could be for the convertible top..... Can't remember if the button was in the center console or somewhere else... If not I would go with the heated seats also.

Dion, I have a vert. The button is up on the trim by the dome lights. I guess I'll go with the heated seats. That gives me ideas........

I put some blue led light under the dash. And they come on with the head light

I think they are 8" or 10" led I got them from autozone
