I've always been a little intimidated by my tuner (SCT w Bama) just because the idea of monkeying with the cars computer is new territory for me- never used one before last year. I've had no problem loading tunes and whatnot but I've never has reason to use it for anything else.
Last week when I got my water temp gauge installed, the nitwit mechanic left the mass air disconnected (which threw my car into limp mode- I freaked, it sucked) but that caused the cel to come on.
I hate that. So after 3 days of driving to make sure everything was normal and see if it'd go off without help, I pulled out the SCT.
Sure enough both codes were MAF related... It could not have been easier to clear them. No more cel, and gosh I'm glad to be able to check and clear codes! What a great tool...
