Engine ticking

Hey guys. Was wondering if anyone has experienced or have answers on engine ticking in a 4.6 mustang. I didn't notice it until someone mentioned it to me. I can hear it from inside the car and it comes from the inside of my passenger side fender. The best I can describe the sound is like a diesel sound kinda like a clug clug clug but it's not the lifters for I can hear them separately. It does speed up when reved at higher rpms. Please help fellas? Thanks!

I never thought of that. If it is something wrong is it something major or just something that's more annoying than anything

If its something wrong making the noise then yes major, but the mod motors always makes noise so unless you post a video or something it's hard to say if it's a bad noise

Re: Engine ticking

Sounds like time for a new exhaust system- it won't fix the ticking, but you won't care!

Seriously, don't worry about it. They all do it, especially when they are cold. With my forged internals, my 3V sounds like a Powerstroke in the morning.
