Too loud or not

I have pypes headers and or/x on the way. Wanted the or/h but lms was outta stock when I ordered. Car had good looking Magnaflows when I bought it. I deleted them for straight pipes an tips. My question is, will I have to put the Magnaflows back on. They did sound really good ,just wasn't loud enough for me.
Also am I going to loose that low grow by putting the x instead of the h.:........... Thanks......TC

With the pypes or/x and muffler delete your car is going to be SCREAMING LOUD! I have the pypes or/x, stock headers, as the 16...(can't remember) magnaflow( the aggressive ones) and it is borderline too loud, but I love it. My neighbors probably don't like me too much at 6am when I leave for work, but who cares.

Yeah you are gonna want to throw a muffler on that. I have glass packs and flowmaster 40's on mine with the o/r xpipe and its still pretty loud. Also I'm not sure with your headers but on stock manifolds it trumpets at 2500 rpm. If you have no muffler it might do the same and you wont like it. Sounds like a riced out civic hitting v-tec when it happens. I didn't want to spend 400 on magnaflows since I just bought the flowmasters so I had the glass packs put on to get rid of that but I hear magnaflows by themselves will do the trick.

Re: Too loud or not

I belive I'll put the magnaflows on it and see how it sounds. They sounded great with stock exaust at WOT. The or/x is what has me confused, I've never heard one in personal.

Thanks, looking forward to the video. I know I'll need a muffler w headers. I want loud but, I wanna be able to carry on a conversation in the car. If the magnaflows doesn't do the job, what does everyone recommend .

Re: Too loud or not

I have the full Pypes system. (Lts, O/R X, Mufflers) and when cruising and shifting at 2500 or less, it is ALMOST stock tame. Otherwise it screams.

Re: Too loud or not

Top video is an exhaust collection from this weekend. Fast forward to about 1 minute for my car or just enjoy the whole vid.

Vid 2 is when I first installed it with revs up to about 4k.

The videos I have of me at the drag give you the best idea of what it sounds like at Full WOT

Wouldn't say quiet , u can hear me coming now. Those magnaflows were so quiet u wouldn't believe I even have headers on it. Took it for a ride and no drone at 55mph. We'll see on the interstate.

Under 2500 I don't hear the exhaust at all. Over, it screams.
