Sct... Easy to use... Very popular so if u have problems more companies are familiar with sct, allowing better chances of correcting what ever issues u may encounter ... Not to mention sct has great customer service

I had an sct in my 03. I honestly didnt see a gain or any real changes. It just seemed to me like a way for companies to make more money

That's because whoever tuned it did not maximize the tuners capabilities and it your cars capabilities... Correct me if I'm wrong but the 3v motors also allow for better gains then the 2v plus they are tuned down from the factory

Its obv going to flow better thats one of the main reasons the 3v makes more power than the 2v. But still if im going to spend the money on a tuner id want it to be right and give me the power i want

Re: Programmer

Steer clear of some of the odd ones.... Hypertech, Bully, Superchips, Granatelli, etc. They are all good, but they have NO dealer network to support them. A look at SCT's website showed 10 SCT tuning dealers within an hour's drive of my home.
American Muscle, Brenspeed, VMP Tuning, BlowByRacing are all great companies that can set up a tune for you based on your mods and your intended use of the car.
I can tell you from personal experience that the right tune will make the biggest improvement in your driving experience, short of a blower.

Hypertech was great back in the day!.. I didn't know they were still around!.. Lol BullyDog is good too, if you have a diesel!.. Lol. Otherwise I'd say go with either Diablo Sport, or SCT!...

Re: Programmer

SCT is the brand of tuner I would get due to its wide use and how it works vs others... it just has more to offer currently.

+1 for SCT. I have one and I love it. Basic Bama 91 octane tune really woke it up.

Stay away from that $70, 70hp gforce chip also. I can't believe the forums even let them advertise. I made that mistake, luckly I'd read about it on forums before it got installed.
