Whos running Nitrous

I looking at the Edlebrock Dry kit, anybody running that one? I want a dry kit for a few reasons, 1 its easy to hide and 2 i dont have to worry about it puddling in the intake. also how would you hook it up with the micro switch? my car it stick so i dont have an extra hand to be holding onto a button. also I would only run a 100 shot for now

Look up Speeddawg shift knobs. You can get one with a built in button. They are pretty sweet.

Thanks for the input, I was hoping someone had a setup but I think this is the wrong forum, if I had a question about LEDs, halo lights or plasti dip I'd have a million answers here haha

I have the zex wet kit. It uses wot trigger with a window switch to control what rpm and what gear to start the spray. Does the edlebrock kit have any accessories like that? That would solve your button problem.

---------- Post added at 11:14 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:13 AM ----------

Also filling the bottle for the first time tomorrow so wish me luck.

I doubt the JLT 3 is thick enough to tap. Personally I'd feel better with a retaining nut on the inside to keep the jet in place. Plus with it mounted on the bottom side of the intake for discreetness the retaining but will ensure it doesn't vibrate loose. Just my opinion. Lol

Ya that's what I was thinking, edlebrock kit has a throttle body adapter plate, which I could retro for to the zex kit

I tapped my jlt series 3 just fine. Right in front of the tb.

---------- Post added at 01:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:06 PM ----------

Btw the zex kit came with a piece that you can screw inside the hole you drilled. Then you screw the jet in to that.

I "hid" mine. Mounted everything under the filter inside the air box. Then put wire loom over all the lines and wires. Sleeeeepeeeer. Lol. I'll take pictures when I get home.

A window switch or an activation switch will be my safety. You can mount an aircraft switch next to the shifter or even a small button toggle between the two reading lights. That way you don't accidentally arm the system, and neither does someone else.

That is a clean setup man! I would paint all the solenoids black too. What shot are you spraying? Do you have any pics of where you mounted the bottle?

Well my bottle is out now cause I'm taking it to get filled tomorrow. But it's behind the drivers seat. There is already a big grommet to put the blowdown tune and nitrous lines out. After I get the bottle back I'll put it in and take a picture.
