Best exhaust

Im not trying to start a dispute of who has the best exhaust. I would appreciate all inputs of what's exhaust you have had and have. And what has worked best for you in each scenario, performance and sound. Between o/r x pipe, cat back system, mufflers etc. I have stock with Flowmaster mufflers. Mine got just a little deeper not much more sound or performance. But also have stock intake.

Best sound is stock mid pipe with the mufflers cut off, I think performance wise an off road x pipe with dynomax mufflers

Also get ready to throw those flow masters in the garbage if u get an off road x pipe

Re: Best exhaust

first get shorty headers (ceramic finish recommended) then swap your stock H-Pipe for a Mac Prochamber H-Pipe then put Pype Bomb Axle Backs on it... You WILL turn many heads, and possibly set off some car alarms along the way.

On mine ive had the roush extreme cat back and loved it with stock manifolds and mid pipe. I put kooks long tubes with catted x and still loved them but the exhaust was REALLY loud and had lots of interior drone. Got complaints from the neighbors all the time ( I have cams too). Put flowmaster A/T's on and it quieted it down but still got complaints. I now have Borla stingers and LOVE them. The deep tone at idle and low rpm's is great but not obnoxious, and the raspy aggressive note when you step on it is great. Really comes alive when you step on it. No complaints from the neighbors either!! Since I still have the resonators from the roush mid pipes in place there's very little to any drone inside.
