Exhaust.

Bought a 2007 gt with cat back magnaflow pipes. Think it's a little bit too quiet. Maybe lookin for an axle back kit. Any suggestions on some loud ones?

Re: Exhaust.

you could always just go no mufflers for the most noise they make just pipes that eliminate the mufflers~

i personally think you should stay away from magnaflows because they are incredibly common. i have the pype bombs and they sound amazing. you can also never go wrong with borla

I went whit magnaflows and offroad x-pipe and sound nice, not to loud and there straight tru no chamber mufflers ,well to me because california chp are picky and cited u up for loud muffler, plus you get better power whit straight tru than chamber mufflers that hold the exaust gases pressure making noise insted of power, mine make that nice driving resonates at end of 2500-3300 rpm but went I rev it to show off its loud ***%%& and even get that back fire and small flames went shifting to second at full wot, its nice

I have full MAC exhaust Longtube Headers, Pro-Chamber, and Boom Tubes it sounds like a exact copy of a 67-70 gt but when you step on it get ready you might break windsheilds behind you at idle its perfect its insanly loud at rev and you gain about 30rwhp depending on your exesting mods

Honestly I was about to take mine off, I just put them on two weeks ago, and for awhile it sounded awful, but the last day or so they started sounded better actually pretty good, I think they have to heat up and break in

Haha that's funny cause I had a set for 5 years on my old car, and sold them to a buddy who still uses them, but I live in IL so we have a very calm and dry climate thats very corrosion friendly haha

I had that problem but the headers were hitting the steering column instead. Fixed it with some poly- engine mounts.

Pype bombs are echo tips that can be welded on at any muffler shop for $75 including the tips... I priced em out to get ready for my custom mid muffler set up thinking of running m80s w a 4"x12" slant tip echo tips... I'll post a video as soon as I sell the magnaflows to afford the m80s...

Re: Exhaust.

I'm going to mention this again. Everyone is mentioning Brands, but what's not being mentioned is the fact that most companies have multiple models of Mufflers in their stock. Ex. when people go to shops, they say "I want ???? mufflers" or "????? Exhaust. So salesman will just give them that. The better question is: I want a Agressive sound muffler/exhaust or a low/deep sound muffler with (BRAND NAME) systems. I believe, because of this people do not get the sound they are looking for and may say or feel that (Brand Name co.) is not loud, or not good, etc. Someone in this thread commented about Magnaflow not being loud. I have Magnaflow, my wife has stated that mine is the loudest of all in the neighborhood, But I do have the same Brand on both cars, but different models of Muffler: On Mustang it is the "Aggressive" sound muffler, on wife's car it is the "Low/Deep" sounding Magnaflow. And the sound is totally different on both cars.
