Your mustang feels like a big ol truck? What's your other car? A go kart? Well get wider/better tires and lower it and upgrade the sway bars and that's about all you'll need to give you a way better feel, there plenty more you can do but For just a better feel that's all you need

+1 on the sway bars. Ford Racing front and rear kit makes a huge difference. Add some lowering springs and you're set.

+1 more. I would agree used. Nothing wrong with used accessories.

Re: What should I do to make my handling better with $700

you should be able to get a nice set of springs and shocks/struts for 700 (install them your self and save some as well). If you are paying for the install springs might be about all you can afford on 700 with labor and alignment included.

as far as WHICH springs you need to read up on rates and pick some that are aggressive if you want handling to go up
