Opinions on Airaid

I'm looking at the Tuner/Air raid intake combo on AM any opinions? I'm pretty much stock besides Axle backs

Alright I'll look into JLT I'm keeping my options open so how bugs the difference over stock?? I'm thinking of running a 91 race tune since 93 is scarce here but my main goal is to clean up throttle response from the FBW system

I have run Airaid on all my cars. IMO its better quality than the JLT. The JLT might be bigger but air moves slower in bigger space. Roush and Airaid use the same design. Also you can use the Airaid with or without a tune. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

Don't intakes that Don't require a tune usually make less power??? And I run an airaid on my pick up and like the quality

Yeah your right, but you can add a tune at any time and it would make just as much power.

Well Not to say Airraid isn't good but Brenspeed uses JLT on all their race cars, doesn't American muscle or Bama even race?

I would def say pick Airaid or JLT. I use Airaid because I have been happy with their product. I looked at JLT but just do not feel a reason to switch if I am happy with what I have had in the past. Ultimately I don't think their is more than a 1-2 hp difference between either. It all depends on how the tune is done.

Re: Opinions on Airaid

I use "Airaid" on my other car, and I have absolutely no complaint or problems with it at all.
