Shouldn't be a problem as long its an xpipe designed for long tubes. I had MAC long tubes matted to a BBK off-road shorty hpipe with no issues.

I heard you need the matching brand mid pipe as headers. So if uh got bbk headers I would need a bbk x pipe but I would rather have bassani

Hmm, pretty sure not, that's just a sales pitch to get you to buy their stuff

As long as the collectors and mid pipe are the same size, you can usually look at the pictures of the two to see if the flanges will work. But I have heard of some not matching up but I have also seen different brands match up in person.

Think you could do like a normal driving drive by instead of wot. Sounds good can't tell how loud in a video though

I have lts,o/rx and magnaflo mufflers. Not near loud enough for me. Straight pipes are way to loud. Everyones saying I need flomaster 40s for what I'm looking for. Anyone have any suggestions. All the u tube vids sound the same on my phone.

Re: exhaust question

I've got Flowmaster 40's on my 07GT and I love them. But you'll get 1,000 different opinions on here as to what is best. I think it all depends on the rest of the setup. The rest of my exhaust is stock and it sounds great. But after LT headers and H or X pipe, it may not be as good a combination. It's hard to plan for, you get axle backs first and then you want headers. The sound vids on phones and computers are fairly terrible. You always miss a lot of the lower deeper tones.
