You'll probably have 290-305 rwhp at best

Re: Actual HP gains

friend of mine had about the same setup (manual trans) and had 300rwhp~ over the 260 stock rwhp. The auto will lose a bit more. His tune was for premium as well.

Re: Actual HP gains

Thats an good HP gain for the mods you have. Back in the 99-04 days intake/tune added like 20hp total not like today when its far more. Its much harder than the manufacturer makes you believe to add hp/tq

you cant stack gains either, they all kind of work together. `

Ya 45 RWHP is a good gain.

Think of it like this. Your car has roughly 345-350 flywheel hp.

These questions will help to get the right input from us.
Once you get it narrowed down you can watch videos to listen for what you like best.

Prochambers are pretty deep sounding for a midpipe. I think I'm going with a bbk setup. What is your opinion on how loud you want it and raspy or clean?

The prochamber is basically but they don't technically "classify" it as that. it has a deep tone and it sounds pretty clean, especially will with those borlas

Ok then im going to go with an H or power/pro chamber. And now I need l/t headers. I want them to be the same company to avoid any fitting issues. Well mitigate them as best as possible. What do you think?

Absolutely would match brands for less issues as long as both products are good. Which Mac makes a good product, as well as most other competitors in the case of headers. You are going off road mid pipe correct? If you go wit an h do you have any ideas there of which brand you're leaning toward?

I'm leaning towards off road for the sound since borla has a chamber the sound will be reall nice. Pypes I hear makes a good product. I have heard MAC yet. But also bbk, and then mmr

I'm kinda already sick of the off road smell, I use to like it in my last car but it wasnt my daily driver

I have not dynoed MY car yet but my friend on my old Celica forum traded up for a Mustang as well and he dynoed over 320 in an auto with intake, 87 bama tune, catless x pipe with stock mufflers. Most dynos I see get you close to 290 on just intake and 93 tune.

Here is his dyno.

This is absolutely correct. I posted it to show it can be done, but also to show how much dynos vary.

+1 agreed, it's definitely possible. I just didn't want people to get there hopes up then shattered when they only put down 295 haha. My friends Saleen before he was supercharged put down 302 rwhp with full exhaust intake/tune pullies and an aluminum driveshaft.

Good to know, cause I was running low 13s without the x pipe, maybe that's what my car will need to push me into the 12s also the drag radials will help a ton

My radials make a world of difference! And an offroad midpipe will help up in the higher rpms for the strip.

But if you go FI the 4.10's will just create wheel spin in all first 4 gears. I chirp mine in 4th with just the mild bolt ons I have and 3.73's

My best time is 12.998@ 107.72 on Nitto 555 tires NON Rs. c&L Intake, 4.10s, pypes lt headers and o/r x pipe with mufflers. 93 Tune. There is a 12.8XX in it easily once I get my 60' down. I bogged to a 1.923. A 1.899 or faster and I can nail a 12.8

Before the headers & X Pipe my best time was 13.346 with a 1.989 60'. Headers & O/R X Pipe later, I drop to 13.1 with a worse 60. Went from 105 to 107.7XX.

Aside from the smell, I love it.

All you need is tires. BUT I agree that F/I is FASTER with a lower gear since knocking off one shift of a car that is hauling *** can gain you .2 tenths or more in some cases.

Re: Actual HP gains

dynos are not 100% accurate as said, its just a "guess" or a "close guess" and it ALL depends on how well they are calibrated, loaded vs non loaded, and all sorts of things.
