supercharger or turbo

Is it safe to run a supercharger or maybe a turbo With full exhaust and a Cai and gears with stock internals on the engine and trans ?

And which is better in your opinion?

With a supercharger you can throw away your cai. With turbo you can throw away your exhaust. Either one will net good numbers but the supercharger will definitely be cheaper. Not sure but i'd assume 6-8 psi is the max you can run on either. Don't forget injectors, dynotune, and other miscellaneous costs to either one

Re: supercharger or turbo

Stock internals are good up to about 500HP.

I'd say 450 to the ground is a safe place to be with a decent tune, honestly you gotta factor in the tune and how much you abuse it as well. Look at the ford racing kit, it's a whipple and provides power all the way through the torque curve and or Magnus superchargers which provide a warranty on engine tranny and rear end

I'd go supercharger. With a turbo you'll probably make more horsepower but you'll be really pushing your bottom end. I'd go with the supercharger that Ford Racing makes, it's comes with everything you need! & it's a little more safer on your motor.
