18X9 FRONTS

Does anyone have 18x9 front wheels on 07 or 08 stang with Pro-Kit springs? If so, do you have clearance issues? I want to put 18x9/18x10 staggered fit on my 08 GT, but I also need to do suspension mods for 1/4 times and I'm worried that because the front wheels would be an inch wider that stock plus lower by about 1-1/4", it will cause rubbing issues when turning? Please help.

Re: 18X9 FRONTS

I run 18 x 9's on the front and at stock ride height have no rubbing issues at all...IMO I don't think that you will have a problem with pro-kit springs because they dont really lower the car that much...although I am not really a big fan of Eibach springs myself, I would suggest/prefer H&R springs, but it's really up to you...but again, with only lowering the car about an inch, you should be ok I believe...

Re: 18X9 FRONTS

i drive a 95 so it may be a little different but i have 17x9 on the front with 275/40 tires and Eibach pro kit and i don't have any rubbing issues. My car dropped about 1 3/4 which is more than the said 1 1/2 and im good to go. I think you should be ok as well

Re: 18X9 FRONTS

thanks. I wouldn't imagine there would be, but my biggest fear has always been hitting a bump in the road and there goes the tire with a big rub mark on it
