| rear-end leak
Anyone know if the 05-09 Mustangs have issues with the rear-end..leaking fluid through the breather valve...noticed today that on the passenger side the rear end is coated in fluid, while the driver side is as clean as a whistle....any help would be appreciated. Called up the dealer and have an appt to bring her in next Friday.

I've never noticed that, perhaps the fluid got changed and they over filled it, did you buy the car new

My car had a leak (used) the minute I bought it. Axle seals. Got them replaced when I installed the 4.10s.

Yea, I was curious though..about a month or so ago I put the airaid cai and 93race tune on it..do ya think maybe that tune coulda caused the seal to wear due to the added power or is that not at all the case...I was just thinking maybe its something I did or just a normal occurrence.

Mine leaked when I didn't use synth fluid. So I started using synthetic and the leak stopped...dunno this was on all new seals too after I put in my 3.73.
