paint

Having all the little rock chips painted, and where the vandals scratched the hood. Noticed last night that the seam under the hood had corrosion and blistered the paint. Anyone else have that issue.

I got blister paint on mine. Be careful cuz if it flakes off it comes off in chunks. Weird thing is the metal underneath is clean. No rust, no corrosion, nothing. I don't know.

It's corrosion under the paint. I'm having the under side painted also.

Here's the thing. I thought it might be rust, but I pulled some of the paint off, and it's just bare metal. Nothing else. What does corrosion look like under paint? Cuz I can't see anything.

Okay, but I'm saying the metal is clean. Just clean shiny bare aluminum.

This is one of those things that makes us owners of these cars so crazy to maintain the look and condition of our mustang's ...I always find myself looking over my car when I park it to find that small bug stuck to the front and clean it off immediately or the small rock chip to prep and touch up lol and of course in general keeping her detailed weekly!
