Re: Fan blades

They're called knockoffs. I had a set on my Cragar SS's back in the 70's.

Y'all are the first to not like it... Hmmm... I got rid of my first set, but I missed them.... I get more compliments on these things then anything else... I do wish they were functional

My goal is to go so fast they fly off

Re: Fan blades

Call me "old Skool", but I like the knock-offs. I had them on my '66 Mustang back in the day...(1977-'82) Since the S197 is a retro-themed car to begin with, the traditional wheel treatment works... just my opinion....

I like, just not with the ford logo, they should have the pony emblem instead

Yea I hate the fact it's the ford logo... My first set had the ponies.... When I first got these the background behind the ford logo was a dark grey... I painted it black... Looks tons better... I'ms there a sticker out there I can slap on there?

Re: Fan blades

I like them, they're just overly popular in my opinion. Doesn't make them bad. Also, THESE are generally called fan blades.

I rarely see people running my style wheel w spinners... I only called em fan blades due to seller calling em that... Thought maybe he knew something I did not lol

As for the style of wheel... I too want something rare... But my options are limited due to my goal of building this car off of strictly used parts lol... I'll change em at some point but for now I have to work w what I got

Re: Fan blades

I think they are nice since this is a retro car. Common sure, but most parts become common. Unless you keep changing wheels every couple of years, you get one you like and be done with it.
