Somebody didn't love that dog enough to keep him off the highway. Dogs can't be replaced but if one steps out in front of me on a dark highway. I'll hit the dog every single time. A dog getting run over wouldn't make the news but the guy who lost control and died swerving to miss the dog would. Sorry you hit the dog but you gotta do what you gotta do. I've killed countless dogs/livestock/wild animals that crossed my path on the Highway.

Im not saying ur mustang to u is less than a dogs life .. Not saying u hit it on purpose as u take pride in ur stang .. Yes dogs are not smarter than people but it wasnt the dogs fault ... Yes probably its owner dumped it or didnt keep it leashed up or fenced in ... Therefore i blame them ...

Haven't had a cheeseburger in ages

Well damn I guess it's just a lose lose situation... Dead dog and f'd up car.. I've avoided plenty of dogs and other animals thanks to my lighting-like reflexes. Lol. Hope it never happens to me tho. Specially in the freeway.

Now why on earth would you tell your insurance company that you were speeding when you tore up your car and still expect them to fix it?!? That sir sounds like something a dip***** would do! Hell we all have or want mustangs so everyone on this forum has sped at some point! Afterall it wasn't the speed that tore up the car its was the dog caught in front of the speeding car that did it!

Re: Stupid dog ruined my bumper and radiator

Any pics of the dog?

FYI,if you spray plastidip all over the area of impact it will magically reappear to it's natural state.
