Clutch replacement

Hey everyone just need some advice regarding my clutch. I'm upgrading to an 8 bolt flywheel + new clutch. Both spec clutches and flywheel.. I would like to upgrade my through out bearing and slave cylinder. Will an oem set up work? Or is there something better that will work with my set? I read on American muscle the "ram" brand will not work with my spec clutch. Is there another aftermarket set that will work?

Re: Clutch replacement

is your current clutch bad? if not leave it alone. I know guys running low 11's on stock clutch. also you can not upgrade to an 8 bolt flywheel, and the OEM slave/tb's are the best,

Well I am upgrading my whole engine. With a stroker kit that requires a 8 bolt flywheel. And my clutch I upgraded prior to the rebuild but it wasn't working properly. It wasn't fully disengaging IMO. I would push in the clutch but It wouldn't drop into gear until the rpm's dropped.
