E brake??

Yesterday I Yanked on my e-brake and it quick went right back down! The mechanism that hold it up broke, anyone elce have this problem? Is there a easy fix?

Should be an easy fix. Generally you just pull the center console and it sits right there. I had mine drop a couple times, but I just pulled it up again and it held. Are you sure it's broken?

Could just be a spring that broke. Have not heard of this problem. Is the thumb button real loose? If not, then it may have broken the tab to locks into the teeth.

Mine too. Came apart. Removed console and fixed it.

The button works fine, I looked at it and the tab works fine, but the teeth are semi rounded? They looked like they were striped somehow.
