Fog light fitment

I replaced the stock fogs with CCFL raxiom smoked fogs on my 06 GT. But for some reason there is a gap between the fog light and the frame it fits into on the grill. Does anyone know why? If I push the fog light down to try and fix the gap it just pops out of the bracket that holds it. I'm pretty sure the gap isn't suppose to be there but maybe.

I know this is a very specific concern, but any help would be awesome! Thanks!

That's awfully weird. Thanks for the picture, makes me feel better about my fitment. From your picture it looks like the little hole to drain water is on top of the light?
