2006 Gt exhaust question

Bought a magnaflow high flow catted x pipe, had it installed yesterday and not the sound I want... My question is can I leave the high flow cats in place , unbolt the x pipe and buy a aftermarket H pipe that will clamp up to the magnaflow high flow cats ?

Usually the x pipe needs to be cut and fitted, so if you paid someone to do it.. I am sure it's not going to be as easy as you think

Seems like the h pipe should mount right up .. Maybe have to cut or weld in a new piece.. But want that deep sound

H pipe should, but to fit an x pipe, I bet they made some adjustments, it won't be as easy as it looks. You will probably have some issues..

If you want a deeper sound, get rid of those axle back flows.. They sound like crap on our mustangs. Look at borla or pype bombs.. They will give it a MUCH meaner sound.. I would do that first..

Won't it still be raspy because of the x pipe ?

Yes, but that's just my opinion.
