The S197s have a lip at the front that seems to catch air. A hood pin kit will solve your problems.

Roxteddy,
Those pins are nice, love that you don't have to drill into your hood. Anyone in here have experience with them and how well they work,
I have a fiberglass hood, will it also work with mine

If you don't have to drill the hood, It's nothing more than art deco.

You drill from bottom up some screws, not long enough to pop to the other side. I was trying to say that you don't have to drill or cut a big hole to run the pins.

Those pins look pretty cool. You get the function of hood pins without the look at me of the older style.

Re: Need help with my hood!

cool - glad that i was able to show you guys something new

tc x 4 - i see you had a look and changed your mind.... cheers, these deffo aint art deco, i have seen them fitted and they work brilliantly and are 'stealth' exactly as it says on the tin. They will fit any hood that has the resting flats for the standard rubber 'stoppers'. It is these resting flats that the stealth pins screw into.... i'm gonna fit some to my Cervini hood.
