Exhaust note not my type

Okay, I'm not new to mustangs but I want a pro opinion. I want a deep nonraspy exhaust note. I have bbk o/r x pipe and borla mufflers with mutha thumpr cams. Sounds awesome but too dang raspy. Opinion anyone?

Re: Exhaust note not my type

Put some cats on, being cat-less makes the sound louder and raspier.

I have to say keep the cats off sounds way better imo...but the raspy sound is your x-pipe.if you change to an h-pipe it will get rid of alot of the rasp..

I've tried 3 set ups sofar. With the o/rx pipe, I believe we're both chasing ghosts. But I want performance over sound so I think the raspyness is always gonna be there.

Magnaflows do have a low sound, so much so you can't hear them unless your WOT
