I think that the headlights being on would show to many imperfections, idk that's what I think, that's why I never tried

I haven't had them done long enough to speak to any cops, though I doubt it'll be an issue. You can still see the bulb through it when it flashes. I didn't want to make it limo dark, but just enough so the orange turn signal doesn't clash with the red so much. As for the headlight, it does show some imperfection, but overall it's pretty clean.

Close up pics, lights on and off. Keep in mind I have 6000K HIDs installed too. As you can see there's lots of light coming through, and this is in broad daylight.

Looks good!!!!!!!!! ---------- Post added at 04:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:33 PM ---------- I had the covers from American Muscle, they were the biggest waste of money I every spent! They never stayed on, rubbed marks on my number then finally snapped off and banged my windshield at the track last week, I wish American muscle would stop selling them

If its nightshade polishing compound works to lighten it up, done it to about 15 tail lights haha

I use HIDs so the lights are plenty bright. Brighter than most, even tinted. Im gonna do a late night cruise and see how it is. If they're too dark I'll probably remove it. Hopefully not though
Next up is the deck lid panel in black and plastidip rims.

In the summer the sun sets around 10, we have light for another 30 mins and it rises again by about 430. So night isn't too big a deal, lol.

Squeeze the two thing that hold it in and it slides out of a groove on the other end. (don't forget about unplugging the bulbs). I just swapped mind for some smoked ones and they took 5 mins each to swap.
