Wow dude chill out. I like the Shelby cobra badges I think they look better than the GT badges. If you don't that's fine. I don't go around telling people their car looks like **** because they putt ghetto 22" rims on it or ricer lights on a stang. I don't like that but some people do. If you don't like it that's an opinion and I respect that but take it down a notch.

I'm not gonna ***** like a 10 year old because you don't like my car but show a little respect man.

I respect your choices; however, please take those off your car.
It's just something we aren't supposed to do. It disrespects true Shelbys and makes you look bad.
I can't make you do anything and I don't want to offend you (the rest of your car looks great!), but you WILL be ragged on in the future because of those emblems.
It's the same as people taking a Pontiac Le Mans and trying to pass it off as a GTO Judge back in the 70s. It's just an insult and anyone that knows cars will laugh at you for it.

Alternatively! Do a full-out GT500 exterior conversion! Bumpers, hood, wing, the whole thing. Then it wouldn't be quite as bad as just decals on an obviously fake Shelby.

Shelby rest in peace. Any car enthusiast will know that the GT is not a Cobra. Sporting the name and the Cobra badges are a way of paying tribute to the man who made the Mustang the greatest muscle car in America. Your car looks great. Keep chasing the dream and maybe one day you'll be able to put a supercharged Cobra engine in that body. Not all of us can afford a Cobra and there is nothing wrong with dreaming. I like your ride, badges and all. Do what makes you happy and what ever makes you owning a Mustang more enjoyable.

I never thought about it like that. I do respect Shelby and that's mostly why I got these. I understand there are some things you just don't do with some cars and I Didint relies this would be offensive to some people. I think I'll just de-badge the car (no cobras no GT's) I stand by my post to the first guy I don't do stuff because it makes OTHER people happy I'll do what I feel is right for me and I don't give a damn about the haters but I understand respecting the Shelby name and it's a respect I share. I will remove the badges, not because you don't like them but because I now understand the REASON for the dislike.

I have the utmost respect for shelby and all mustangs from a v6 to the gt500.

carroll shelby rest in peace.

I like the car better without any badges. I would love to hang some Shelby logos on my wall! Great idea.

Again, your car is gorgeous and no offense was meant. You're a very reasonable man and I greatly respect that.
Take it easy, man.
