| CHE K-member brace
Anyone have one or similar? Suppose to help a lot with shifting accuracy in higher RPMs and just add a lot more rigidity

| Re: CHE K-member brace
I have one, it has been on the car for a little over a year. I installed it when i swapped to the TR6060, I did not want to switch to poly motor mounts. It snug up the drive train, and no NVH. I have rebuilt both the 5sp and 6sp transmissions, and after seeing the way they are built, I do not believe that torque and remote shifters are causing the shifting problems. I think it caused by the gate plate, and rails that control the forks. I think the rails are to flexible, and i think that is why it took Tremec so long to bring the T56 mag S197 to market. They had to make sure it would shift correctly before they could sell it.

It must help a lot some where cause ford started putting on a brace on all 08+ mustangs, before it was only convertibles and gt500s

I though you were asking about the torque limiters that CHE makes optional for there K brace. As far as the brace it self, it was made to help with pressure on the rear control arm bushing and share the load on both rear K member mounts,

I like mine, and che is the only one making it that i know of , but most people that buy them as a shifting fix are disappointed.
