Hello!

Hello everyone, how are you? Today I purchased my first mustang! She's a 2007 gt, and I'm incredibly in love with it already.

I'm proud to join your ranks here as a certified owner.

Anyways...

I had some beginning questions, of course.

So!

What are some good basic modifications I can put on my car to get the ball rolling? Everything is stock on this car.

Also, what are some of the more reliable company's who sell these parts? I've read some magazines and seen some big names, but I want the most bang for my buck.

Thanks guys.

My advise... sell it by a 2011+5.0 lol

Or just stick to used parts on different boards... save a ton of money.... make sure you have a end goal... buy exhaust (headers back) tuner and nothing else... save until u can afford a blower... all else will leave you broke w no power... a full bolt on s197 can not even beat a focus St : -/

Cranker,

Congratulations on the Sweet pick up & Welcome to MustangEvolution! You will meet some great people & find some great reads on here!

There is a ton of threads on here talking about "basic modifications", But to save you some time I would recommend starting with Exhaust, Intake & Tune. Those 3 things will free up some air, give you some sound & let the ECU know whats going on! (Basic Run Down)

We offer a huge verity of parts for your stang, if you ever have any questions Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266. I can also have one of them call you directly.

Also I am always available if you need to shoot me a PM!

- Dan

I just recently bought a stock 07 GT too. I love it. No regrets! My opinion might not mean a lot because I'm new to this too. But I tinted the window first. Just put Borla axle back exhaust on last week. Now I'm trying to decide on what rims to get. I have it narrowed down to a few different styles. But going with staggered for sure. Have fun, I know I am.

I haven't bought anything from American Muscle (yet). But I will be soon. They have so many cool thing for these cars
