another cai thread... yeay!!!

I have first Gen jlt cai right now... but I have full bolt ons including longtubes and gt500 tb.... so part of me wants to sell the jlt and get a jlt 3 to maximize air flow... because I'm getting head work done soon... have any of upgraded your intake like I'm wanting to do... is it a noticeable difference?

It is more then likely not a noticeable one but maybe 2-6 more horsepower and looks hella nicer

I just don't know if it's worth the effort to get the swap done for free... on a side note thinking of picking up a off road h w resonators on it and running tail pipes out back.. just not sure what it will sound like... I can't fond a video online of something similar

What about the Borla Stingers or the Magnaflow Magna packs? Both vids I've seen on AM these sounded pretty awesome.

If you want a push rod motor sound, buy a push rod motor. I love the sound of my 3v.

I've only heard one 5.0 with exhaust I liked. The rest I don't really like the sound. But I'm biased to 4.6 4v because that's my favorite sounding mustang.

Look up the 2v gt with full bassani exhaust. Midlength headers x pipe and catback. Sounds good to me.

Haha ya right "look up" haha look up any 3v or 2v on YouTube and tell me they all don't sound good, it's in person that counts, just revving sounds good, but under load where it sounds bad

All 3v on YouTube sound like ****. And I'm talking videos of driving by and driving normal to actually get a feel for the sound. 2v always sounds better in person to me then a 3v anyways. But 4v beats all

Flowmaster hides a lot of the annoying sounds, I have flows myself

Do you think the humming at idle is the fuel pump?

I couldn't here the humming, it was on my phone and only watched the first minute, but a fuel pump is more of a whine/high pitch instead of a hum but who knows for sure.
