K&N air filter

What's everyones experience with the K&N air filter.( just filter not cai) I know it allows more air flow, but not sure if it's worth getting. Not wanting to get a cai right now bc I wanna gather all my stuff so I can get a tune for it all at once.

Then save the money and wait, don't waste money on an expensive filter if your going to want to replace later with a CAI

It's time to replace the filter either way. That's the only reason im asking or else I would just wait.

Time to replace it with an 8 dollars paper filter

If you plan on getting a CAI later, no sense in getting a reusable filter now.

K&N is garbage. SVTPerformance did numerous tests proving that K&N systems flow worse than factory. Of course that was on a Terminator Cobra, but logic dictates that the results are universal.
As stated above, get a complete system if you want gains.

Re: K&N air filter

I use Purolator, it flows fine for my V6.
