| Fu#ked up day!
So earlier today I was exiting the interstate and while coming down some asshole in a dodge status rear end a vehicle in front of me and since it was raining when I applied the brakes my car slid and I ended up hitting him and We both got a ticket for following to close which is a bunch of bullsh!t . Irony is he was able to drive his rust bucket home and my baby had to be taken away on a flat bed! |

Ouch!! Agreed, if your insurance company "totals" your vehicle ... UPGRADE.

Even with the upgrade option now available, the situation is still a PITA to deal with. Just hope for a total.

and my seatbelt won't retract now and mystery smoke fills the car when i crank it smh | Sounds like it hit harder than it looks. Take it to the best shop you can find just to make shur the cabin is not warped or something. At lest your gonna get the highest estimate. It'll make the choice to fix or upgrade a little easier. And I don't recommend a Ford shop. Did air bag blow ? If not make it b 4 adjuster sees it.

and my seatbelt won't retract now and mystery smoke fills the car when i crank it smh | I don't know if u got the income but I rather not even making my insurance pay for the damages bc its going to go up really high for the next 2 years ...i found a guy here willing to sell me his hood for $150 .... And today I went to my godfathers body shop and said he could fix it for $200 & I don't even have to buy another hood..... I spent everyday for two weeks checking craigslist under mustang parts and believe people do got parts or there ---------- Post added at 10:01 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:58 PM ---------- P.s. I went and got estimate for my hood and a place told me $2100 & $1700 and both telling me it wasnt fixable and that I had to buy a brand new hood for $1300 from the ford dealership

That was my poi.t is you could probably get a nicer aftermarket one for cheaper. As long as you can get the shop to work with you.
