Exhaust question

Ok I bought my car with slp loud mouth already on it. There is no muffler. I have the bbk shorty tuned length headers but cats are still on it. What should I do? I want cats off but I'm pretty sure with headers and no muffler it gonna be loud as hell. Someone once told me the slp was a resonator tip. All I want is it to be loud but no to loud and the cats off. Also nothing really expensive, I've already put to much money into this car thi year ha.

Well I figured that but I just wanted to know what would someone else do in my case? I heard that flow master 40s or whatever sound good.

With no cats, you could always go with some american thunders or gt takeoffs

Crawl under and see.. Where the pipe bends down down off the headers and starts towards the back of the car if u have 2 small muffler looking cans towards the middle of the car those would b the cats

They make a cat delete or u can just have a exhaust shop cut them off and weld in a straight piece of pipe

Ya when I put headers in there was two cats then the pipe connected like a few feet away then went all pipe to the resonator tips.

My buddy has a guy who will charge $25 a cat to cut out then wrap over pipe to make it look like it was still functioning. Then junk yard I go.

+1 it sputters and it's LOUD without cats but not really a good loud. I've had my offroad H on for a few months and I'm probably gonna put the stock H with cats back on and see how it sounds.
