Not trying to be a jerk but the best ultra high performance tires in fact are not directional. Directional designs are very good at channeling water and look good and appeal to many car enthusiasts therefore many tire companies have a bunch of different directional designs. The best UHP tires have an asymmetrical tread pattern usually with larger tread blocks on the outside of the tire. A good example would be the Bridgestone Potenza RE11 and the Michelin pilot supersport.

Shur you can if ther not staggered. You can also break the tires down and switch from side to side, just not very practical when you add the extra cost of mounting and balancing.

Go staggered! Since I work at discount tire, I know that we can do rotation on a stag set up. As long as the tires aren't directional, you can uninstall the tire on on rear, flip it, and install on the same rim or another. If it is directional, I guess you would uninstall the tire and the old outside would be the new inside on the opposite side wheel.

A standard rotation is just fronts on rears. Cross rotation is just an x. RF on LR and LF on RR. If you want to keep your tires lasting long, keep the right amount of psi in the tires. We always put in 32 psi for cars. This way, the middle doesn't wear from over inflation and the sides don't wear from under inflation.

45 must have been for shipping! SUVs and small trucks get 35 psi and larger trucks get around 45 to 50 psi. Heavy duty trucks get 65 to 80 psi depending on factory specs.

You can ride at which ever psi you prefer as long as it is under the Max psi. 32 is just the perfect amount for comfort and for wear.

Re: Staggered or Spacers??

I agree with everyone that if you are buying new wheels then go staggered.
But for me I plan to install 1" spacers all the way around on my 09 GT because I like the looks of my factory 18x8.5 rims but with the stock 50mm
backspacing they are just tucked inside the wheel wells to much a 1" spacer
(25mm) should bring the wheels out closer to the fender lip and a Set of Steeda lowering springs should give me look Im going for and I can use the money I would be spending on wheels and tires on HP mods.

Also why would you put spacers on staggered rims, just curious?
I used the spacers to bring the rim/tire out to the edge of body and to help in clearance issues with upgraded brake systems.

Cool I think thats what im going to do anything more than a inch a would scrape everywhere. I have staggered 20 inch shelby razors and I was wondering how it would look with spacers.
