I have a Magnaflow Catback w/Off Road X Pipe, I have a nice sound which gives its a good amount of hp but if you want it to be loud, you can just take off the ends. Also does anyone know of anyone in Ca trying to buy a mustang? Mine is 4 sale and needs a new home. 18k if anyone is intereted please let me know... its a custom 2007 Mustang GT

Does anyone know if there will be a decent sound increase by adding 07 GT500 mufflers to a 06 GT with stock exhaust? Thanks

I'm going for the loudest, meanest I can find.
Thanks! | Hey "Cranker", what Exhaust did you deside to go with? I looked around but did not see your answer, just a bunch of guys sticking their Chest out and pumping it like "Tarzan".

In case you haven't gotten the exhaust yet, I'm running Pypes LT's, O/R H out violators. Combined with Brenspeed Detroit Rocker Cams, it sounds awesome. LOUD and mean.

What you guys think? | I wanted to do the Pype bombs... But with the o/r H, my car is already ridiculous loud even with the violator mufflers. I'm ok with the loud, but the neighbors have been complaining... And I got pulled over the other day because the cop could tell there were no cats. And I was under 3k RPMs.

Well, I don't have any neighbors so I'm safe. I hear that, that's a loud ass set up, though.

But it doesn't, and it's annoying. Sounds like **** and is a waste of money. If you insist on spending money to make your mustang sound like an old truck, then go for it!

I'm running borlas, but I also have longtubes with an offroad x. Look into spin tech. If I didn't already weld all mine together, that would have been my next set

You can add cats to them that would help with the old truck sound but they cost more than the pipes lol

I would just get the axel backs and call it a day the 10-15 hp youll get out of changing the whole exhaust isnt worth the money imo.

Yes headers and mid pipes make 10-15 by themselves, but it's about how they compliment other mods for more power. Not to mention the sound change

With an o/r h, you get a deeper growl. Decide which of those you want, then decide on your muffler, or lack thereof. I think mufflers give it more tone. I like Violators sound. IMO, borlas and corsa both have a little higher tone. I think Flowmasters have a lousy tone. Best thing to do is go to a Mustang meet or the track and listen to the setups that other people have.

I might have gone with the "H" pipe, but did the "X" instead.
