Help me decide guys!

I have a 2007 gt woth 40k on the odo. Should i spend more money and keep modding this car, or wait and save money for a new car?? I want a 2011+ but it would be about 2 or 3 years before i could do it?? (college) im just torn!!

2-3 yrs is a lifetime! I don't know how I waited that long for mine.. I'd say do some small mods to keep you happy and save for a new. Still low miles you got on that though.

Your stang is nice though so idk lol either way you can't go wrong imo.

Haha! Well i want a new stang and i have an idea in mind for it already lol!! I guess ill just keep modding mine!! Lol!

So far ive done
Roush front bumper
Sequential Tails
Double Din
Shorty Antenna
Upper and lower grilles
C&L Racer CAI
Bama Tuner
Roush Louvers

About 3k out of my pocket!

But if i do mod this even more im gonna do
3" Cowl hood
Halo fogs
Halo heads
Hids
Roush side skirts
Different wheels

So with all that thats a good 4k plus,

Just didnt know if i should save or mod!

Man... nice car... but you need to start flipping and buy used...
What I've done for zero dollars out of pocket:
long tubes
Off road mid pipe (2 to choose from)
borla stingers
Adj pan hard bar
Front a arm brace
Adj upper control arm
Frpp k springs
Short throw
Jlt cai
Gt500 tb
Tuner
Wheels and tires
Tri bar center caps
Under drive pullies (not on car)
Agent 47 mirrors painted
Quarter window scoops (not on car)
trunk mat
Charge motion delete plates

That's not including all the stuff I've flipped... or have for sale lol

Your car already looks badass! I would start putting some more performance mods & have you considered dropping the weight? A light s197 with bolt ons, you'd be running 12 flat in a 1/4. Look up Matt silva mustang on youtube, perfect example!

When I got the car I sold a few minor mods it had on it... then found killer deals on more stuff I did not want with that profit picked up one mod I wanted and a few I did not... and round and round and round... if u find a deal on something you know you can sell for more do it.... I buy stuff for our year cars all the time and sell them... or if I know somebody is in need of a cai I'll find out what their budget is and try my best to come in less while making a little of the top... I met a guy who built a gt500 off a v6 platform doing the same thing. Took him four years and he only spent $1500 out of pocket

OEM is hard to sell... you have to be creative... I can't tell you all my secrets lol

OK how I was able to sell a few stock items:

OEM cai: I offered to paint match the arm and I put a old cone style k&n filter in replace of the air box (that's not all I did but the rest I will not say) I got $100

Oem wheels: blacked em out added used drag radials, sold em as pairs instead of a set.. $200 ea set

40k miles is low. And like others said, you have a sweet looking ride. Besides new car means higher insurance, registration, etc...

That thing is bad *** I love the way that looks, I would definitely keep it,your car will last if taken care of and by the looks of it you do. Lots of potential for that car, I wish mine was that nice.

Leave the car alone, it doesn't need modded. Get your education and you can buy any car you want. You will never be happy in life if you can't be content with what you have now. You have an awlsom car now, a million ppl would gladly trade you places. Use the extra money to enjoy your educational experience.
