Speaking on 05-09 models! When I bought my car it was already on there and also how do I tell if my car already has a tune? Thinking about replacing it with the ford racing CAI .....

I don't have K&N, but they have a decent reputation. If you plan on doing more mods though, you are gonna have to get a programmer eventually. Might as well get a programmer and an email tune for the CAI. AM can hook you up.

What was said below is correct, you will notice it more with a Programmer. And changing your Gears, you will notice more also. Which Brand CAI you have is Not ALL that important, just maybe a little. There's no easy way to tell if you have a Tune. A shop or a Performance shop might be able to tell you if they hook it up to the computer. I doubt if you do have one, and hopefully not cause you do not have a Programmer/Tuner that was done on it.
