E cutouts

Does anyone have any input on electric cut outs for the exhaust? Are they worth it? I guess I should ask do they make a difference running open? If so, I've seen videos of them before and after mid pipes...is there a better placement....

Trying to start!! I went two weeks ago but I've been so busy with work these past few weeks...when I went it was my first time and I kinda got addicted... Oh and don't think I want them to just run around town pissing people off either cause I figured someone would chime it with that kind of reasoning and start talkin nonsense...

Re: E cutouts

If you run a street class, you may not be allowed to open them, But to make power, mount them on an x-pipe where the pipe curves toward the middle. That spot will give you a strait shot out, and help with torque.

So there is a difference in power? And the street class they told me as long as the motor is stock that I was good so..but it was the pit lane at Texas motor speedway and they didn't have a tree or a time of the run... But in my class I was paired against a Mercedes compressor, ws6 trans am, srt 8 magnum, and a camero ss ( that sounded cammed as hell) only lost to the SS though

Re: E cutouts

It is similar to running headers with a long collector, not a lot of HP gain, As good as mustang exhaust is i would not waste the money. I would buy other things.
