gas smell in car

recently, i had the dealership replace my plugs in my 05 gt. since then i have been smelling gas in car. mostly when idling at traffic lights. smell is coming through ac from engine compartment. i looked everywhere for a leak but no sign of a leak anywhere. i took it back to the dealership to diagnose, but they can't find anything either. i can barely smell gas fumes in engine compartment, but strong fumes through ac??? any ideas?

Do your own installs... I've had nothing but issues in all my cars that I paid to have fixed and or modded... this car done my own installs... no problems...

I would give it a little bit of time to see if it's something the computer learns and remaps fixing the problem

Re: gas smell in car

sounds like something in the evaporative system..Look for hoses loose or broken..They prob had a hard time with the plugs and moved a few things out of the way..If it is in the evaporative system,,it will throw a code ,,but the fuel level has to be between 1/4 and 3/4 fuel level...anything over the computer wont test the system or under..If you are in that range the computer will find it if its in the evap system..Keep looking for fuel leaks too,,

Maybe it's running rich due to the new plugs.
