Don't buy new tires, buy used tires. Much cheaper. Probably 100.00 or less per tire. Keep the rims you have now. They look 10 times better for YOUR car. Just my opinion...

---------- Post added at 05:44 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:43 AM ----------

Your wheels need to compliment your color car. The wheels you have now do that. The other ones will take away from the color of your car.

I always buy used no matter what you should know that lol...

The wheels in pic would be up for sale the minute I buy em... or any wheels I get for that matter...

The OEM 18" bullets r a great wheel for my car but I like to have new wheels ever so often.. keeps things fresh

These are some of the ones I'd like to barder up to:

Have you tried selling the wheels in sets of 2? If you were closer I'd buy 2 of em off of you to put drag radials on so I could swap out at the track.

As far as the replacements, i think all white wheels wouldn't look nearly as good. Just my opinion.

What is the best time to buy rims? Which company has the best deals? Discounts? If you buy from a local company do they pass on their shipping costs to the buyer?

Q's. What is the best time to buy rims? Which company has the best deals? Discounts?

A. Whenever you can find them on sale. Companies have sales on them year round, so just keep your eyes open. Our forum choice is American Muscle. As a site sponsor/vendor they offer some great deals and discounts to members who have over 50 posts. See their forum for details.

Q. If you buy from a local company do they pass on their shipping costs to the buyer?
A. I think you will find that nowadays with fuel prices being what they are, all companies have to pass on their shipping costs, but some items may still be shipped for free on occasion.

I know I called them... there is fine print tho... I was thinking of having a certain friend of mine who works for a performance shop print me off a dummy add for a staggered wheel and tire package and taking it to the discount tire that "forgot" to screw the lug nuts all the way back on, on my grandpa's suv and he was traveling 75mph on the hwy when the entire wheel came off and caused a ton of damage...

True, and it does all to frequently.
Not all of it is attributed to lazy, inattentive workers or shoddy workmanship.
Even the best of shops can get in a rush and forget something, so remember to always check things like that yourself.

A few years back one of our best shops changed the oil in a friend's, wife's car and forgot to tighten the drain plug. On the way home the plug fell out, her engine lost all the oil and seized up. They made it good with a new engine and paid all her expenses, so it shows what can happen and how a good shop will handle issues.
