I find a lot in SA, but you're lucky you don't really got to worry about your car in kingsville, here in SA they'll steal it quick lol

I just want it to keep the miles low too and just have something to cruise the beach and not worry about rusting the car

I'd drive it to Texas, but I would likely stay. I can't wait to become a Texan! I am SO done with the People's Republic of California.....

I understand wanting to leave Cali, but I'm not sure I would choose TX. I spent some time there... I'll just say, stay away from Ft Bliss and Ft Hood. Those places suck.

Re: Mustang gets a break!

Mid '90s Hondas are stolen here at a rate of about 10 a day. They are usually found a week or so later, completely stripped. I don't get it- what is the appeal to those things? My wife's 6 cylinder Mustang will SPANK 90 percent of the ricers out there...

I will be moving to the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area in about a year, IF the Mayans are wrong about December....

I like San Antonio, too. I had a lot of fun there, especially cruising Military Road. We were in a Chevelle with open headers and the cops left us alone. They would gang up on the Honda kids, however.

+1.

I'm in Houston. 5 years now (lived 25 + in so cal).

Only thing good here is the cost of living compared to CA.

North Dallas/Plano is nice... Austin is kind of cool.
