Exhaust question.

Nything between flowmaster 40's and muffler delets?

I have an off road H. The flowmasters are so quiet I can't even hardly tell them from full stock exhaust. The muffler delets are loud but without any tone...

Man. Flowmasters must really quiet it down. Maybe Pypes Violators? That's what I have, and as much as I love the sound of my car, if I'm starting it cold at 0730 in the morning, it's WAY too loud. That's probably partly because I usually have some form of a hangover... But it's pretty loud.

I had MAC muffler delets and they were loud the flowmaster 40's sound AWESOME under 2k RPMS but anything over they are SILENT. I just want a really loud deep rumble when cruising or passing someone.

Well on mine, at WOT it's loud. Really loud. It's not that deep though. But when you get on it, people hear it hammering on the other side of the median with their windows up.

I might just go with electric exhaust cutouts .. I don't want to spend $400 on another axelback that may or may not sound right..

Re: Exhaust question.

Pype Bombs have pretty good tone and are loud when you get on it. Same with SLP Loudmouths.

I paid that for magnaflows that are nearly as quiet as stock. They have the sound I'm looking for, just not the volume . I'll buy different axle backs, but not till I hear the right one in person.
