GEARS help?

If buying 4.10 gears is the same price as buying 3.73 gears but 4.10 pulls harder or puts more out....then why do so many people go with 3.73 ? Seems to be more popular than the 4.10 by far, what am I missing? 4.10 have problems?

It's nothing wrong with 4.10 gears. Reason why some people get 3.73 instead of 4.10 is for fuel mpg. On the highway with 4.10 gears in 5 gear your Rpms would be at 3000 at 80 mph.

Some people get scared, but don't fear the gear

Ya but it might be too much for big boosted cars, 410s with just a supercharger running low boost ain't nothing
