Muffler delete

Just had my exhaust done. I kept everything stock and took off the mufflers. Had the guy just weld straight pipe up and put my tips on the end. Looks good. I was scared that it would sound bad with popping or just a bad tone. I was wrong to be scared. It sounds really really good. It exceeded my expectations by far. Reminds my of an 02 Cobra sound. No popping, no bad drone, and a raw sound to it. I would definitely recomend to people that are waiting to do expensive exhaust or just want good sound for cheap and leave it that way. Cost me 70.00 out the door.

You guys are making me want to try this... I've spent over $1,300 on diffrent exhaust setups and hated them all. I'm back to stock right now.

That's what I did first for $60. After installing headers an o/rx pipe, I've spent hundreds on different axle backs trying to get the sound I already had. The HP gain was well worth the set up I have now, but its a pita trying to get that sound back.

If you want deep and throaty go with a 10" or 12" tip.

I hate the way my mustang sounds. Embarrassed to start it up Where people can hear. It's better just stock and quiet but every once in a wile I'll have one pass me on the interstate with that deep rumble and it brings a tear to my eye lol.

I did the same thing with my 06 GT but I also put an X pipe. Sounds amazing when you shift down and lay on it!
