Paint them with this

http://www.vhtpaint.com/products/flameproof/

Auto zone has it for like 8 bucks and your still saving 50 dollars from the pypes SS with looks Like crap after a year
Cool, where at in IL? And by not matter are you saying I won't be able to stop the rust. I thought a ceramic coating could prevent that.

The paint will work 100% I'm saying if you went with the more expensive brand pipes which is SS it still gets surface rust

Oh ok thanks for the clarification.
I'm in Bloomington. We didn't get nearly as much snow. Realistically what gains would I be noticing from an h pipe maybe 5hp?

Getting rid of the cats on the car with an off road h pipe should be good for 10hp, I feel a difference when I put on my off road Xpipe

Are you going to the CMC Spring opener may 11th?

I apologize but what is CMC? I haven't heard of it. And depending on the day I would probably go

Sweet! I'm excited.

And to get back on thread topic with the pacesetter being that cost effective that mod would be awesome. I can't imagine an installation fee being that much either.
With the cats being removed would my car throw a code at all?

Paint them with this

VHT FlameProof™ Coating

Auto zone has it for like 8 bucks and your still saving 50 dollars from the pypes SS with looks Like crap after a year

Hey just a quick heads up, Pacesetter offers a three year warranty on the h pipe but if theres any external coating not applied by the manufacturer and it rusts out or anything else happens to it, it voids the warranty!
