anyone install FR Camshafts?

I am considering having the FR Camshafts installed on my 07 GT
Anyone done this already?
Thoughts? opinions?

Looking to increase the muscle car sound.

I got these cams on my stang & I can't get enough of the sound! It sounds amazing! I get a lot of compliments & the power gain wasn't bad on upper rpm! You feel & hear the difference. I love them! You can find a video of my car on the first start of the frpp cams if you look long enough in my post, it was a while back.

Go with the Brenspeed Detroit rockers if you want power along with the sound.

Re: anyone install FR Camshafts?

I am interested to hear if anyone did the work themselves. There is a video on youtube where a guy installes them in his car step by step. I have been kicking this mod around in my head but paying someone to do it just is not my bag. I want to do them myself and would like to hear about pitfalls from a DIY-er.

That dude does make it look like a walk in the park dont he? I have a car and truck as back up so taking the mustang off the road for a few weeks or a month wouldnt be an issue. I have done cams before in american pushrod V8's but I know that those are nothing like the Rube Goldberg like carzieness in one of these mod-motors. 500 is not too awful bad, I thought it would be closer to a grand to do the work....still 5 bones is 5 bones ya know?

I have FRPP cams. worth every penny to get them. the sound in awesome, completely old school muscle. the power gains paired with a custom tune is pretty good. i would do them and if you can do it have a shop do it for you.

Everyone says they sound good and give power gains. Perfect. But is there anything else you have to do? Or do you just put them in and your all set ...? Please let me know my fellow Stangers ! Haha
