Traitor or not?

OkI'm cruising down the highway and this 07-09 GT500 rolls up on me and starts to rev his engine and do short launches on me to call me out. I personally never call out fellow Mustang drivers, what's up with that, he should be bothering some dude with a souped up ricer or camaro or something. Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same?

There I fixed that for you.

No, I don't think it's traitorous of him to do that.
It's just a one hot car to another challenge, the brand/model doesn't matter.
What does matter is to not street race. It's just to dangerous to yourself and innocent bystanders. I'm glad you resisted the challenge.

I wouldn't have resisted the challenge. Lol

Idk, usually, Stang, camaro, ricer, or supercar, I find it somewhat satisfying that you are noticed in the car community. I have the upmost respect for anyone that can keep up, or beat me. (at the track of course) lol!

It's a different mindset with us enthusiasts.

I find it fun to play w like cars for several reasons:

I like to see how I stack up in comparison to same year cars w different mods and what not

Plus I pick mustang owners up more so than I did girls when I was single lol

I personally have met well over 50 fellow Stang guys while driving, play a little Cat and mouse then pull over and chat about our love for these machines...

And that leads to my final "plus" for challenging a fellow Stang... typically if you run a like car be it track or what have u, you know despite the out come their will b respect given either way, unlike running a Dodge or Chevy... if u run a different brand it's more of a rival thing and the loser of the encounter will be upset in some shape or form... (although, I love rival type interactions more if the opposing party is down for friendly trash talking... that is so much fun... being in a debate w a friend over Chevy vs Ford is always fun because Chevy guys tend to be short tempered and lack the facts to back up their arguments lol

Exactly. When I'm at my watering hole I park far out in the lot and end up getting surrounded by Vettes and Camaros. I don't mind though because at least I know the people that are parked next to me are car lovers and respect others rides.

Last week a school bus yellow 2013 Boss parked next to me......what a turd!!

+1 - Just trying to have some fun.

If you see him again sometime, you should as him to visit the track with you. It's always fun to run a fellow Mustang owner on the strip. It makes for some cool pics too!
