Changing the gears 06 mustang

Is there much of a difference between 327 355 or should I go one step above 355 and does it require a tune

There is a difference. But not like going to 3.73's or 4.10's. And you don't need a tune just plug in your tuner and recalibrate for whichever gear you go with.

Re: Changing the gears 06 mustang

I don't know which one to pick my only concern is I don't want to sound like I'm. Going 90 when I'm going 60 .i just don't want my rpm Togo to high when I driving on the highway

3:55 will put you right around 2k at 70 mph and 3:73 is a few hundred more I think... I've only had 3:55 or 4:10 ... I like the idea of 3:90 myself

With 3.55's the rpms won't be too high on the freeway. I have 4.10's and at around 70 mph I'm pulling about 2400-2500 rpms. At 80 about 2600 rpms. So even if you one step above 3.55's which would be 3.73's, the rpms shouldn't be bad. Probably 2300 rpms at 70. There's a calculator online that can help with this.
