Power wire help

It's a boring day so it's time for cheap mods, I'm trying to install 1 led in the cup holder as an ambient light and I want to know if there's a power wire I can tap into that comes on when the cars on?

Hmm if I was doing that mod I'd probably investigate routing it up into the dash to splice into the a/c knob lights. Then it would only come on when the lights are on at night. If you want it on all the time, the closest is probably the gauge lights...

What about splicing into a a taillight or side marker light, through trunk, under back seat to console.
