Out with Steeda in with HURST

will today I took out the Steeda tri ax and in went the Hurst, what a difference, the hurst feels tighter and shorter and looks a lot better! I'm very happy with the Hurst!! Found it on Craigslist for $90 couldn't pass it up

I have the same shifter. I really like it but if I had to ever change it it would be for the MGW shifter

You guys need to keep PRO 5.0 in mind. It really is an amazing shifter.

Ya I've heard that's a great shifter as well and a lot of people love it but I've never tried it.

I heard it shifts nicely but the shifter it self is too tall for my liking, not hating, just my opinion. My MGW shifts badass and still sits nice and low.

Im looking at getting one. I cant decide whether to get the regular hurst or the hurst billet or an MGW. The only reason i dont want the MGW is the price haha

I would go MGW. It's not that much more than a hurst and is a great shifter. It will be worth it in the end

I would get the mgw for the money. I wasted my money on the pro 5.0 after reading posts about how good they are. Imo they suck big time.

I started looking around at other forums and youtube and whatnot and everyone said its the best shifter they've used. I think thats enough to convince me to go with the MGW haha.

Is the Hurst install harder? I see a 2 foot piece of metal that I don't see with steeda. I've never used short shifter before, bare with me.

Ya I've heard mixed things on the pro 5.0. A lot of people like it and then other people hate it

Hard to get into 5th and rev. You have to be real careful getting on the interstate not to hit 3rd instead of 5th. Just not as smooth as stock. 2nd to 3rd is spot on tho.
