Sunroof In Mustang?

So yesterday i was driving and saw a 05-09 mustang with a sunroof in the tilt position. It looked awesome!! Do anyone have a sunroof on their mustang and if so hoe much did it cost?

Sunroofs are pretty worthless and every aftermarket sunroof will leak.

No s197 has ever been produced with a factory sunroof

most are flat and the roof is curved, so thus it looks bad. Plus they leak and have issues and hurt values probably. Dont do it! they really dont do much anyway

Well, I'll bet you could get one done that wouldn't leak. But I would expect it to cost a couple grand, and even then it might leak. Price is gonna vary based on where you are. Or you could just join me in petitioning Ford to offer a Targa top next year

I'm not a fan of sunroofs because the cost doesn't add hp but Saleen had plans for a sliding roof for the 05-09 S197 that was sweet, IMHO. It never came to market but if it did I would have seriously considered this option.

T-tops or Targa top. Basically an option for those of us that want the wind blowing across our bald heads without a ragtop.

it sounds cool but in reality putting the top on/off gets old quick and most just never use T-Tops due to this (same with targa tops). At least verts its button push up and down.

Not trying to get off-track but Ford did have a T-Top option available for Mustangs in 1977 and 1978 model years and from 1981 through 1988. Just sayin.

Correct, I can buy a 88 in mint condition w/35k on it. T-tops are a rare option.

ive just seen it far more times than I can count. 90% of people with verts get tired of using the top after the new factor wears off, it will be perfect weather days and BAM everyone has their top up.... especially girls who dont want their hair messed up .... T-Tops would be even worse as it takes more effort to take them on/off.

The top is a pita, from my experience with my moms, and the doors take a few mins to do taking your time, just making a point, t tops is like a 3 min job

I had a '94 wrangler, the pita was putting the top back on. Rain or shine my top was in the garage. I had half doors so there was only one nut at the top hinge. Sometime I miss that thing, it got me so much tail.

I don't think jeep people run in the same crowds as vert, targa and t top people. I've never had a girl ask me if I could put the top up in my jeep.

T-tops would be awesome in a mustang. IMO rag tops are gay. They don't only add extra weight they look horrible on the mustangs.
